711hotdogsConvenience store chain 7-Eleven is having fun challenging Burger King after the fast-food giant announced it would sell hot dogs.

In response, 7-Eleven issued a “Hot Dog Bill of Rights,” pronouncing its superiority with such statements as: “7-Eleven has provided Americans the highest standard and best taste in hot doggery for more than 40 years, resulting in annual sales of over 80 million at over 7,900 stores.”

The report at CSPNet.com notes that 7-Eleven was rated the top favorite place to buy hot dogs in a Nielsen survey.
