The National Federation of Independent Businesses has asked the U.S. Department of Labor to delay implementing a rule that would make millions more Americans eligible for overtime pay, reports Convenience Store News.

Employers aren’t ready to meet the Dec. 1 deadline, NFIB says, because they have to reorganize employees and create new systems for tracking hours and reporting.
