The North Carolina Education Lottery and Linq3, creator of Play at the Pump, say their partnership has surpassed $1 million in lottery sales at the gas pump. More than 190 convenience stores are using the technology, according to an article at CSP Daily News.

The technology allows for quick verification of age, payment and receipt, and the customer never has to enter the store. It’s available in other states, too, including Missouri, Minnesota and California.
