SAASOA Educational Series – Florida Department of Revenue: Record Keeping & Audits

SAASOA stands for Southeast Asian American Store Owner’s Association. The organization held an educational forum in 2017 discussing record keeping within the gas and convenience store industry. It is imperative that you keep good records of your store’s sales for the Florida Department of Revenue. If you are audited, you will save a lot of time and money if you do this right the first time. 

Record keeping for your convenience store is not usually the most fun subject, but is important nonetheless. The following video is around an hour in length, and is a little rough, but the information is invaluable.
