The 2015 Forbes magazine list of American’s largest private companies includes fifteen companies with stores that fit the profile of gas stations, convenience stores and travel centers.
CSPnet.com summarizes the list , noting that Pilot Flying J was the highest ranked of companies in the industry at No. 8. It was the only one in the top 10.
Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Cumberland Gulf Group, Meijer Inc. QuikTrip Corp. and Wawa Inc. were also among the highest ranked of companies in the industry.
CSPnet.com reports that Wawa plans to build at least 120 convenience stores in South Florida from 2017 to 2022, starting in Palm Beach and Broward Counties, then Miami-Dade County.
