This event is hosted by Crosswind’s Youth Services and sponsored by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office to benefit the organization and add to their mission of helping young people reach their full potential regardless of any barriers or challenges they have faced. Local businesses as well as some major corporations helped to sponsor the event at the request of Shah, one of their longtime customers and business partners. Companies that sponsored are Citgo Petroleum, ExxonMobil Corp, BB&T Bank, Sunoco Petroleum, Lightle Beckner Robison, Inc., TD Bank, Certified General Contractors, Florida Bank of Commerce, and Florida Community Bank. Southeast Petro, Shell Oil Company, and BP Global are Presenting Sponsors for the event.
Summit has been a member of the board at Crosswind’s Youth Services for 7 years. He has come to see the true need in our community for our youth to have a safe place to go for instances of abuse, abandonment, and other situations that our children should not ever have to go through. “Crosswind’s is an integral organization in our community. They help the children in need, giving them a loving and structured environment to thrive and succeed despite their family circumstances,” Shah said. “Our community and business partners recognize this, and were eager to become sponsors for this amazing cause.”
The ‘Clue at the Zoo’ Fundraiser is a fun evening of mystery and crime solving that will take place on Saturday, September 17th at the Brevard Zoo. Guest detectives are invited to solve a mysterious crime that has been committed. Numerous crime scenes and clues will be set up throughout the zoo where visitors will have time to evaluate each scene, interrogate the suspects, and solve the mystery of “who done it.” The prizes range from a Port Experience which includes a hotel stay at Homewood Suites, a helicopter ride, a fishing trip with Obsession, a dinner at Rusty’s Seafood and Oyster Bar and more.
Tickets for the event are $50 per person. Sponsorships are available at various benefit levels from $500 to $10,000. For more information, call Misty Campbell at 321-452-0800, ext. 205 or go online to http://www.crosswindsyouthservices.org/2970-2/.
