December 29th, 2015 CHEVRON IMAGE EXECUTION
Chevron/Texaco Partner
In mid-2014, Chevron launched new image standards for its Image Execution program, designed to improve brand standards across the network. The results have been fantastic. Overall scores have increased measurably and sites receiving remedial shops improved their scores by 28%. These positive results reinforce and enhance the brand elements that resonate with our customers and help ensure they return time and again to our stations.
To continue on the heels of this success, Chevron is increasing the minimum required score from 70% to 75% for all image evaluations. Changes will start with Period 1 (January 1-June 30) image evaluations. Sites failing to maintain the minimum standards will be issued a Hot Alert notice and will have 45 days to correct infractions on the image evaluation to meet Chevron’s Image standards. Within about four weeks after the 45-day correction period, Maritz will conduct a remedial evaluation of the entire station, not just the infractions from the initial evaluation, at your cost of $48.55. The remedial evaluation will replace the initial evaluation for this period. In the event of failure of the remedial evaluation, sites will be issued a Debrand notice.
Failures resulting in Debrand will be deemed a violation of your supply contract and all outstanding balances including, but not limited to, branding costs, unamortized incentive or gift balances paid by Shell, and specific performance will become immediately due and payable.
