A Grand Opening for the very first Amoco branded gas station in Florida has been set for Thursday, May 2, 2019. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony starting at 10am that will include prominent members of the community such as Assistant Police Chief Greg Burton, Fire Chief Kurt Wilson and the First Coast High School Marching Band will perform.
After the ceremony, the Grand Opening Event will continue with promotional product give aways, raffles and much more to let the community know that we are open and ready for business!

BP North America announced in late 2017 that the vintage Amoco Brand would be making a comeback. Since then, Southeast Petro Distributors, Inc. has been in the planning phases of imaging one of their newly built gas stations flying the highly anticipated brand’s flag.
Southeast Petro will be the first Wholesale Marketer in Florida to hold the rights to the Amoco brand since its resurgence and will be the first to open a fully imaged store. The facility is brand new, built from the ground up with ten fueling positions and a beautiful 4200 square foot convenience store.
Amoco and British Petroleum merged in 1998 becoming BP Amoco. Shortly after the merger, Amoco branded stations began rebranding to the BP marque until all the stations fully transitioned to adopt the BP brand. Now that BP is bringing the brand back, Southeast Petro is excited to be one of the first to meet the standards to add Amoco back to their network of stores.

This is not the first time that Southeast Petro Distributors, Inc. has had an Amoco branded station. In the mid 1980’s through the early 2000’s Southeast Petro had several Amoco branded stations throughout Florida. When asked, Mike Shah commented, “We are honored to be able to have this brand again after all of these years. Being the first Wholesaler to bring the brand to Florida is a big deal to us.” The new store is located at 413 Pecan Park Rd. Jacksonville, Florida.
Southeast Petro Distributors, Inc. is one of the largest wholesale fuel suppliers and multi-site convenience store operators in the Southeast. The multi-generational family business, established in 1980, now supplies fuel to 450+ gas stations throughout the Southeastern United States, employing over 200 people across the three states in which it operates.
