PALM BEACH GARDENS, FLORIDA (7/29/2021) — Southeast Petro Distributors Inc. has acquired three gas stations in the South Florida market from long-time customer, Kevin Dalton. This was an important move for Southeast Petro’s expansion efforts into the Treasure Coast, adding to their overall real estate portfolio footprint. The acquisition brings the total gas station properties the company is supplying fuel in South Florida to a total of thirty-nine.
Summit Shah, President of Southeast Petro said, “We are excited to be able to further expand the business with such well-established and well-run stores in the highly desirable Palm Beach Gardens area. Growth is one of our core values at Southeast Petro, and we are excited for the opportunities this will bring to the company.”
Dalton has worked hard for many years to build up and maintain a profitable operation establishing a loyal customer base at these three stores. He also has an amazing staff that has been with him for many years, which is a testament to Kevin’s ability to generate loyalty not only with his customer base, but with his team as well. Part of the sale included Kevin continuing to lease the convenience store and continue operations as normal from Southeast Petro.
When asked about the acquisition, Kevin excitedly told us about his plans to slow down and take more time for his family, “This sale/leaseback allows for me to expand my other business ventures, while temporarily freeing up time for my family to spend quality time together. I look forward to continuing my relationship with the Shah’s, Mike and Summit and the rest of my Southeast family!”
Southeast Petro Distributors, Inc. is one of the largest wholesale fuel suppliers and multi-site convenience store operators in the Southeast. The multi-generational family business, established in 1980, now supplies fuel to 450+ gas stations throughout the Southeastern United States, employing over 200 people across the three states in which it operates.
